The Rotterdam-Rijnmond Police Department consists of eight seperate districts and the Seaport Police, the Regional Criminal Investigation Department (RRD), Operational Support (EXO) and the Regional Information Organisation (RIO).

In case of emergency, call 112. Use this number only if immediate response is needed - if you witness a crime or in life-threatening situations.

In non-emergency situations you can contact the police either by phone (0900-8844, local call charges apply) or by going to the nearest public police station.
